About Us

Governance

The Calabar Women and Children Hospital (CWCH) is an NHIS-accredited healthcare organisation established in 2009 to provide general and specialist healthcare services to children and women. Over time, we have evolved to meet the essential general and specialist healthcare needs of the whole family, delivering “patient-centred” healthcare by well-trained, highly skilled, conscientious practitioners. The hospital, set in a sprawling property that is as pristine as it is serene, is located in the heart of the Metropolitan city of Calabar - the première and tourist capital of Nigeria.

With over a decade of experience in developing frugal healthcare solutions, we stand in the best stead to help children, women, and the family from all socio-economic divides, access comprehensive, personalised healthcare options and premium possibilities that exceed their medical and financial expectations.

CWCH operates under the auspice of the Child Survival and Development Organisation of Nigeria (CSDON) - a Non-Governmental Organisation whose core mandate is the promotion of the principles and practice of CHILD survival and development as fundamental to human survival.
